Time to Start Planting

We have all of our plans drawn up on what veggie is going where in the garden. We even have plans to create a working gate to latch shut (just need to do it 😉). We even have flowers that we will plant to get pollinators to help the veggies flourish.

Now our only set back is coordinating our work schedules with when the local nursery is open to buy our seeds. They didn’t have seeds available to purchase until this past Monday (two days ago) which is understandable since it is a family owned and operated business.
We went Monday evening after work, and unfortunately they had closed by the time we got there. Learn from our mistakes and don’t trust Google and what they say the hours are. So after a failed attempt on Monday we decided that we would go on Wednesday (today). Needless to say we still don’t have our seeds because we were both exhausted after the crazy day we had at our jobs. I definitely needed to sleep in!
So now planting is put on hold a few more days until one of us (or both of us) can go get the seeds. This delay kind of worked in our favor since the past few nights we have been getting frost warnings, but it looks like that we are in the clear of any frost.
